This privacy notice explains how Time2Trot collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when people register, log in, manage rider profiles, book lessons, and use riding-school services through the system.

We may collect account details, contact details, rider information, guardian information for minors, booking information, lesson attendance, horse allocation details, payment or invoice information, and messages submitted through the platform.
3. Why we collect it
We process personal information to create and manage accounts, manage lessons and bookings, communicate with riders or guardians, issue invoices, handle approvals, support safety and administration, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Children and guardians
Where a rider is a minor, guardian details and guardian acceptance may be required. The platform should only process children’s personal information where there is an appropriate lawful basis, such as guardian consent or another lawful basis permitted by POPIA.
5. Who we share information with
We may share information with authorised riding-school staff, instructors, administrators, service providers who help operate the system, and legal or regulatory bodies where required by law.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.
7. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this notice, for operational records, or where required by law.
8. Your rights
Data subjects may request access to their personal information, correction or deletion where applicable, object to certain processing, and lodge complaints with the Information Regulator.
